Imagine photographers, image artists, painters, writers and storytellers all collaborating to jointly create a book of art.
- What would that be like?
Join us and find out!
As a participant, you contribute with either your time, your own image and/or your own texts.
After that It's up to the project's participants to jointly select the best images and corresponding texts which will be selected for publication in the book.
No one knows in advance how the book will turn out, it depends entirely on what images and texts the project's participants contribute with, and which they select for publication. We call the concept "Crowd Created".
Participate as a book creator!
Each book needs someone to instantiate, administrate and orchestrate the book creation process.
It involves defining the topic of the book as well as ensuring the legality of the books content etc.
It also involves managing and communicating time frames for each step in the book creation process. Image upload period, image voting period, text uploading period and text voting period etc.
Participate as a photographer, painter or image artist!
Create an image that tells a story, and upload it to your account. It is you as a photographer or image artist who chooses what image you want to upload.
Everyone who has contributed an image can then vote for their 3 favorite images. You cannot vote for your own image.
The images that receive the most votes will be selected for publication in the book.
Participate as a writer or story teller!
Write and upload a story (max. 1001 words) about one or more of the images that have been selected for publication in the book.
Anyone who has contributed with an image or story can then vote for their favorite story for each of the featured images.
The story that received the most votes for each featured image will be selected for publication in the book.
Someone once said, life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you are going to get.
The same goes for Crowd Created Books of Art, since there is no way to know what a given book will will be like, it all depends on the crowd that creates it.
There is however a way to find out!
