About Us

The original concept of "Crowd Created Books of Art" was conceived in March 2024, over a lunch with three individuals that, at the time, hardly even knew each other.

By openly and playfully discussing and combining their different backgrounds, viewpoints and experiences they were able to come up with a new and innovative book concept that bridges over the boundary between fast moving online content and ever lasting books of art.

A few weeks after that first lunch they met again, by then one of them had developed a first simple test system that illustrated how the crowd created concept, and book creation process, could be managed through a web site.

About two months later the small team had the web site up and running, and the first crowd created book of art was already in the making.

Driven by curiosity about how these types of crowd created books will be like, they have since continued to improve and enhance the system via feedback from real users and lessons learned through the process.

Who we are

We are currently a small but dedicated team of three, all living on the beautiful island of Gotland in the baltic sea.
